Terms and Conditions

• The maximum number of students per group class is 8.

• Registration is confirmed only upon full payment of the applicable course fees, whether completed online or in person.

• Payments may be made via approved online payment systems, bank transfer, PayNow (where available), cash, or cheque (subject to local policies).

• Course fees are strictly non-transferable between students, courses, or locations.

• Textbooks and learning materials may be purchased online or on-site prior to the first lesson.

• All textbooks and materials are non-refundable.

• Books purchased online are not shipped to students’ homes and will be distributed at the first scheduled lesson.

• Only fully registered and fully paid students are admitted to classes.

• Registration is considered complete only after full payment has been received by the relevant local operating company.

Bank transfer details may vary by country and are communicated at the time of registration in the invoice.

• Classes are not held on official public holidays of the host country.

• Missed group classes may be recovered by:

  • Attending another equivalent group class (subject to availability), or

  • Booking a private make-up class, charged per hour.

• Make-up classes are subject to availability and scheduling constraints.

• Teaching hours purchased by a student or company are valid for 12 months from the date of purchase, unless otherwise stated.

• Any unused hours after the expiry date are forfeited and are not refundable or creditable.

• The school is not responsible for reminding students of expiry dates.

• Scheduled classes may be cancelled up to 24 hours before the class start time without penalty.

• Cancellations made less than 24 hours before the scheduled class will be considered completed and non-recoverable.

• The school is not responsible for reminding students of this policy.

• Group courses require a minimum of 4 students and a maximum of 8 students to run.

• If the minimum number is not reached, students may be offered:

  • Transfer to an equivalent class, or

  • Deferment to a future session.

• Course cancellation is considered only as a last resort and if the course won’t start.

• Refunds are granted only if the course is cancelled by the school.

• Any applicable taxes, transaction fees, and discounted fees are strictly non-refundable.

• No refunds are provided for voluntary withdrawals or missed classes.

Italian Language School – Global Network offers:

• Group courses (4–8 students)

• Private lessons

• Levels from A1 to C2, aligned with the CEFR – Common European Framework of Reference for Languages

Each level is divided into structured modules designed to ensure steady linguistic progression.
All courses follow a communicative language teaching approach, emphasising interaction in Italian as both the method and objective of learning.

• Students must attend at least 75% of scheduled lessons to qualify for a Certificate of Attendance.

• Certificates are issued upon request and at the discretion of the school.

• From level A1 onwards, students may sit official Italian language examinations at accredited venues within the network.

• Certifications include:

  • CELI – issued by the University for Foreigners of Perugia

  • CILS – issued by the University for Foreigners of Siena

• Certification fees, schedules, and conditions are managed separately from course fees.

Italian Language School – Global Network and its operating companies reserve the right to amend, update, or replace these Terms and Conditions at any time without prior notice.
The version in force at the time of registration shall apply.

• Personal information collected during registration is stored securely and used exclusively for academic and administrative purposes.
• Data is not sold, rented, or shared with third parties outside the Italian Language School – Global Network and its affiliated entities.
• The school complies with applicable data protection regulations in each jurisdiction.
• This privacy policy may be updated at any time without prior notice.
• Except where required for service provision or by law, as detailed in the Privacy Policy.
