The Italian Language School is proud to be the only officially authorized examination centre for the DILS-PG certification (Didactics of Italian as a Foreign Language), granted by the University for Foreigners of Perugia.
This prestigious qualification is designed for educators who wish to certify their competence in teaching Italian as a second language (L2) at an international level.
What is DILS-PG?
The DILS-PG – Didattica dell’Italiano come Lingua Straniera – is a professional certification that evaluates the methodological, linguistic, and didactic skills of teachers of Italian as a foreign language.
It is aligned with the European Profiling Grid (EPG) and represents one of Italy’s most respected qualifications for Italian language instructors.
DILS-PG is available in two levels:
- Level I – for teachers beginning their professional journey or with limited classroom experience.
- Level II – for experienced instructors with a deeper understanding of pedagogical theory and L2 acquisition.
DILS-PG 2026 Examination Dates
As an official examination centre, we administer the exams in strict compliance with the University of Perugia’s procedures.
