Role Highlights

  • Teach Italian to learners of various ages and proficiency levels—from complete beginners to advanced students preparing for certifications like CELI and CILS, as well as business Italian for professionals.

  • Design and deliver interactive, engaging lessons adapted to each student’s needs.

Job Overview

We are looking for a dedicated and well-organized Language School Coordinator to manage the operations of our Italian Language School.

This role requires a proactive individual with strong organizational skills, a sales-driven mindset, and experience in managing educational teams. The Coordinator will play a critical role in:

  • Driving school performance

  • Maintaining high teaching standards based on internal SOPs

  • Ensuring the efficient operation of multiple language programs


Key Responsibilities

Team Coordination

  • Manage and coordinate a team of up to 10 teachers

  • Monitor performance and ensure alignment with school standards and goals

Sales & Growth

  • Drive and monitor the school’s sales performance to meet or exceed targets and KPIs

  • Use sales metrics to design and implement growth strategies

Scheduling & Timetable Management

  • Organize and adjust class schedules based on budget and teacher availability

  • Prepare and supervise monthly timetables for classes and staff

Operations Oversight

  • Oversee operational aspects across multiple language schools

  • Ensure smooth operations and a high-quality experience for students, including Saturday classes

Teacher Management

  • Review and approve monthly teacher timesheets

  • Ensure accuracy and timeliness of payroll processing

Marketing & Website Maintenance

  • Support digital marketing efforts and assist with website updates

  • Use basic WordPress skills (training will be provided if needed)


Requirements

  • Organizational Skills: Highly detail-oriented, able to manage multiple priorities

  • Sales Orientation: Experience in achieving KPIs and applying sales strategies (with support from the Language Center team)

  • Coordination Skills: Ability to effectively schedule classes and monitor teacher performance

  • Italian Language: Ability to hold a conversation in Italian; native speakers strongly preferred

  • Digital Marketing & Website Management (Preferred): Familiarity with digital marketing and WordPress

  • Experience in Education Management (Preferred): Prior experience coordinating or managing educational programs

  • Private Classes (Kids): Thursday or Friday, 5:00 – 6:00 pm

  • Kids Programme (Harbourfront Centre): Sunday mornings, 9:00 am – 12:00 pm (ages 4–6)


Candidate Profile

  • Native or near-native proficiency in written and spoken Italian

  • Previous teaching or mentoring experience (experience with young learners is an advantage)

  • Ability to develop teaching materials and design syllabi (preferred)

  • Flexibility to adapt teaching methods to different learning styles

  • Reliable, adaptable, and genuinely passionate about teaching

  • Must already be based in the country for in-person teaching
